A summer trip to Haiti; Students & Young Professionals welcome!

4/1/2012

I want to share some very exciting news with you on a program that is geared towards students and young professionals. BrandHaiti is a student led non-profit business marketing organization that re-brands Haiti’s negative image through highlighting the country’s strengths and comparative advantages to foster pro-Haitian business investment and revitalize a non-exploitative economy. They have set up a summer program in Haiti - you can see the program itinerary here. You will have fun while learning and meeting Haitian dignitaries like The Minister of Tourism. The price will be under $1,300 for everything, which is a very good deal! If you're interested, you must register by May 1! It's very important because this way, there will be a group discount on the flights. You may register here and then a deposit will be due by May 5.

Discover Port-Au-Prince, visit beautiful Jacmel, Dance with white sand between your toes with a DJ on the beach, take a ride on the jet skis or kayaks, challenge others to game of beach volleyball, or catch a ride from the local fishermen to snorkel in the coral reefs. You will visit the Matheux Mountains overlooking the turquoise sea and have a picnic by the waterfall and so much more. Most importantly, you will be learning and seeing beautiful Haiti.

This is a wonderful program and a chance of a lifetime! I hope you'll consider going. If you want to get involved with BrandHaiti, please send an email to Marie-Gabby at mariegabby@gmail.com.
