What a wonderful place to visit! Endy and I had the chance to visit the Haitian Heritage Museum in Little Haiti. First, we were greeted with welcoming arms, just like any Haitian household. We met a group of students there (from Palm Beach State College Kiskeya club) and we learned about the Haitian history, culture and traditions...and then about poetry and not being afraid to express yourself from museum educators. After the very informative visit, we headed over to Chef Creole's restaurant for some Haitian food. The museum's executive director Eveline Pierre, and director of operations, Serge Rodriguez joined us! It was a wonderful afternoon full of Haitian history, art, fun and LOVE! Everyone needs to visit this museum...Haitian or not!
TRH started as a passion for promoting the great things about Haiti. From our travel and cultural experiences, we have grown our passion into a revolution. Educating others on the under-reported side is our goal. Thanks for all of your support!
